I’ve been juicing lately. We were all sick here so I wanted to get rid of the nasty little viruses. For immunity, juicing kale, beets, ginger, and garlic is a sure way to knock it out. I felt better within 12 hours. Here I’ve juiced organic apples, lemons, lots of ginger, garlic, a bunch of kale, spinach, celery, carrots, parsley and cilantro. George likes these too, so I’m feeling lucky!
Eating a lot of Swiss chard and kale. Warmed and softened, but not overcooked, so it retains it’s nutrients! So good with shallots, olive oil and garlic.
Also, liking this recipe- egg, ricotta cheese and kale on top of healthy bread.

I have to laugh at this place setting. Plastic burnt orange plate, purple glass and multi-colored place mat. Lovely.
The Babe swings every day. She just turned 10 months old on February 27. On that day she clapped when I clapped, did a funny thing with her tongue when I did it, and took two steps. She’s been crawling since she was 5 months old and is FAST. I don’t think there is much reason to walk, which is why it may be taking her longer than we thought.
