In was proven to me last night that coconut water is in fact a vigorous body detoxifier.  It’s comparable to asparagus which is a very powerful acid reducer and detoxifies quickly.

Some info on raw coconut water found here:
It’s a natural isotonic beverage, with the same level of electrolytic balance as we have in our blood. In fact, during the Pacific War of 1941-45, both sides in the conflict regularly used coconut water – siphoned directly from the nut – to give emergency plasma transfusions to wounded soldiers.

Most coconut water is still consumed fresh in tropical coastal areas – once exposed to air, the liquid rapidly loses most of its organoleptic and nutritional characteristics, and begins to ferment.

On to raw almond milk. I’ve made a couple of attempts to switch Sophie over from organic soy which required fitting freshly blended almond milk through a baby bottle nipple. I used to simply pour it through a strainer, but that was no longer cutting it. I tried a coffee filter and a few other things before finally making an effort to find a nut milk bag. I found a “Diana Stobo’s” bag at Whole Foods. You can also find good bags online here.
Anyway, I was so excited after producing silk-like almond milk that I wanted to make out with Diana Stobo, whoever she is. I made Sophie’s bottles then George and I opened our first Thai young coconut. It was beautiful. For dinner we had the water from one coconut, the meat from one coconut, almond milk, bananas and dates mixed into a smoothie. It was wonderful and I feel awesome this morning.

Kicking it intermediate raw ninja style! 😀
